2017-2018 Financial Aid Applications - All Families
Beginning the week ending Friday, March 17, we will begin a rolling financial aid notification process.
This action is different from our past practice of processing early decision applications submitted by March 15, followed by processing standard decision applications submitted by May 1. Now, completed and verified applications by FACTS Grant Aid & Assessment from both returning and new families will be reviewed each week by the Financial Aid Committee. Financial assistance awards will be determined and notification letters sent.
Our hope is this new process will assist most families by not having to wait until June 1 to learn of their financial aid package. However, the danger for those families that wait until the end of the open application window on May 1 is that our financial aid budget may be exhausted prior to the consideration of their application. Consequently, we strongly encourage you not to wait. Apply as soon as you complete your 2016 federal tax return.
Please remember that financial aid awards do not automatically renew from year to year, and returning families must re-apply for each school year. Also, your 2016 Form 1040 Federal Tax Return along with all associated schedules is required by FACTS for income and household size verification in order for your application to be classified as completed and verified.
Additionally, you are encouraged to investigate our available scholarships. The scholarship application window is open with a filing deadline of April 15.
