Mrs. Gainey Nominated for LifeChanger of the Year

Kathleen GaineyKathleen Gainey exudes energy, positivity, humility, and genuine kindness. We are excited to nominate her for the National Life Group LifeChanger award! As Covenant Christian High School’s Science Department Head and teacher of ICP, Forensics, Chemistry and AP Chemistry, Kathleen leads with knowledge, skill, passion and creativity. She is a servant leader who encourages excellence and collaboration. She has led many dynamic professional development sessions on formative assessments, differentiated instruction, and technology integration. Her teaching peers go to her for advice as she loves to stay current on the latest pedagogical research, especially in the field of educational neuroscience. Kathleen is an advocate for all her students, who have regarded her by saying “she helps me to be more confident,” “she has inspired me and has made me love the subject,” and “she genuinely cares about me.” Because of the impact she has had at Covenant, we enthusiastically recommend her for the National Life Group LifeChanger Award.
