The Arts at Covenant is not an elective afterthought. It is a central part of the formation we believe students need. Five choirs, visual arts, drama productions, and instrumental music give students the opportunity to create, perform, and develop disciplines that will serve them for life.

We believe beauty matters, that making things matters, and that the arts are a legitimate way to engage the mind and the soul. Our programs reflect that conviction.

Meet Our Academic Team

Our college counseling program begins in the freshman year. By the time students are seniors, they have a clear sense of direction, a strong application, and a certified college counselor who knows them by name. The average scholarship offer to the Class of 2025 was $147,888 per student.

Representatives from dozens of colleges visit campus each year. Students have access, not just application advice.

Advanced Courses

AP and Dual Credit

Covenant offers 17 Advanced Placement courses and 10 dual credit courses in partnership with Grace College, Taylor University, and Ivy Tech Community College. Students can earn college credit while still in high school, saving an average of $797,364 in tuition costs for the Class of 2025.

These courses are challenging by design. They develop the habits of mind that rigorous college coursework demands: sustained attention, careful analysis, and the ability to defend a position clearly.

January Term

J-Term: Where Learning Moves

Every January, Covenant pauses its regular schedule for J-Term. This is not free time. It is an intentional season of exploration through classes, internships, and travel, built to take learning beyond the ordinary classroom. Some students stay close to home. Some travel across the world. All of them come back changed.

Classes

A chance to learn something new outside the regular course load. Less pressure, more room to think, and the joy of learning for its own sake. Taught by Covenant faculty and visiting teachers.

Internships

Juniors and seniors step into a real workplace alongside professionals in our own community, connecting who they are in Christ to who they are becoming in their work.

Travel

Learning trips that take students beyond Indiana and connect the classroom to culture, history, and the global Church. Trip applications open the spring before.
